NOTICE OF COUNTY TAX FREEZE In November of 2022, the voters passed a property tax freeze for the Hunt County portion on homeowners who are over 65 or disabled. The freeze applies only to your property that is qualified for a homestead exemption. *The freeze amount will be the lower of your 2022 county taxes versus 2023 county taxes.
